The power of the elephant

Elephants are helpful creatures that try to assist and protect sick or weaker members of their group. They are deeply social and oriented toward others. The elephant has a remarkable and strong character. It is physically large and powerful, yet at the same time calm and gentle.

This special animal symbolizes strength, wisdom, kindness, luck, and longevity for many people , all qualities that I also wish to embody with IAMCLAUDIA.

The Elephant as a Source of Inspiration

Humans can learn a great deal from elephants. In certain situations, elephants exhibit behavior similar to that of people. They are social herd animals that cannot survive on their own,  they depend on one another. They live together for many years and share strong bonds. Elephants learn from each other and continue to learn throughout their lives.

From their herd, they learn how to eat, how to use tools, how to behave when danger is near, and where to find food and water. For this reason, the matriarch, the leader of the herd, is usually the oldest elephant. She is the wisest and can make the best decisions for the group. A beautiful example of female leadership.

Did you know that elephants are true communication experts? Much of their communication happens nonverbally. They use their trunks, feet, and ears to convey messages. The power of both verbal and nonverbal communication is immense.

Because of their large ears, elephants have excellent hearing, but they can also “hear” through their feet. They sense vibrations from miles away, which travel through their bones to the middle ear. This allows them to detect approaching danger or recognize when a friendly herd of elephants is nearby.
